Description

Hosted by MYTIGATE, learn about the latest advancements in risk assessment and tracking to enhance Compliance and Quality of pharmaceutical shipments.

Since pharmaceutical products consist of sensitive components and/or ingredients that can deteriorate or be damaged if exposed to unsuitable temperature conditions, pharmaceutical shipments must often comply to predetermined requirements regarding temperature, humidity, and vibration. If the execution of the shipment deviates from these requirements, the product may have to be disposed of to avoid harmful effects on patients, originating a so-called scrapping case.

Pharma supply chains have become progressively more complex due to the increase of finished and semi-finished products manufactured and distributed globally by ship, plane or truck. In this context, freight forwarders dealing with pharma must comply with ever-stricter regulations by individual countries of origin and destination. Therefore, an appropriate risk management system and the related compliance processes are becoming more and more important.

This presentation will highlight the role of digital tools in mitigating the pharma supply chain risks with a focus on compliance and temperature risk. This will provide a great opportunity for the audience to learn about:
  • The challenges of implementing the GDP regulations on the pharma supply chain
  • The advantages of a digital lane risk assessment that helps to improve compliance and quality of pharma lanes
  • A live demo of the digital tool followed by a Q&A session
