Denis A. Couroux, PFF

Mr. Couroux, PFF, has been involved with CIFFA’s education since 2004, where he taught eastern region in class. With contributions to content and delivery as well as lecturing the basic and advanced courses for 8 years, his support has been instrumental in maintenance and upkeep of the CIFFA educational material. Today, Mr. Couroux lectures the Certificate Program and FIATA diploma course to students across Canada in our virtual classes.

Having started in the freight forwarding industry in 1982 as a messenger/runner – it only took a few years to become traffic manager and develop his skills as a freight forwarder in both air and ocean freight. Mr. Couroux studied Business at McGill University (CITT) as well as Maritime Law with Prof. William Tetley.

Currently involved in development in import/export, both ocean and air freight transportation, he also handles projects and specialized transportation services, namely in perishables and mining.
